Violet..

Went round to J's first thing this morning to help him put a wheel back on his pod caravan. It's a bit "Art deco" with a close fitting mudguard over the wheel, and having got it off, he couldn't get it back on. A quick fiddle and manipulation, and it was back on..

Then breakfast. And round to A's to get the charger to go and start the tractor. A drove me down, and having put the charger on, it wouldn't start again. So, van into the croft, and jump leads. Again no luck. The tractor would turn over once and then nothing. Fiddled with all the cables, and eventually taped the battery terminal lightly with a hammer. It started. Back up to the house, and battery on charge. A found a new battery terminal, which I fitted later.

Then off to Elphin to pick up some raised beds. 4 foot wide and 2 high by about 15 long. G and I managed to get them to the trailer and loaded using two sack barrows. Strapped on and back home.

Tea, and then a quick walk around the croft with the camera, and saw this violet in flower. Love 'em..

Lovely day again. Saw a couple of skeins of geese flying North..
