Greater Stitchwort

Another local day.

I spent the morning batch cooking while my other half did his religious observance.

After lunch we went for a walk over Downs Bank at Barlaston. It's a little patch of woodland not far from me owned and managed by the National Trust.

This was one of the wild flowers in abundance, along with pink purslane, marsh marigolds (there's a stream which runs through the woods) and celandine.
