The Wild Ones

Spokes and I enjoyed our Christmas moustaches so much that we couldn't resist some Easter whiskers too! This could become a tradition...

I hope you've all been enjoying the holiday weekend and eating plenty of chocolate!

We had a lovely start to the weekend when we were invited round to a Good Friday brunch by Spokes' German friend, Julia, who laid on a beautiful spread for us. In one of those 'small world' scenarios it turns out that Julia is also friends with my Dutch pal, Inez, who was also there brunching with her partner, Paul. So we had a very European time of it!

After brunch we all went for a sunny stroll along Otterspool prom and disported ourselves in the Chinese and Japanese gardens at the old International Garden Festival site. Very relaxing it was too.

Last night we met up with Inez and Paul again, along with Spokes' friend Sallyann, to see the marvellous (and very funny) Swedish film We Are The Best! which I recommend heartily!

All this and still another day of the weekend to go! Happy Easter everyone!
