Pentlands

We got a bus up to the top of Balerno and went for a tramp up into the Pentlands - not far really, just the Red Moss and round to the hide on the Bavelaw Marsh. Saw (and heard) lots of little birds singing their heads off and the wonderful wild bubbling call of a curlew flying overhead. Bumble bees abounded in the pussy willows. It was a bit windy, but glorious sunshine all day.
