Akbuk space-time continuum

Woke up to rain. Very pretty watching it fall on the surface of the swimming pool.

Much of today was eaten up with the owners AGM at the complex, but as this was the main reason for travelling to Akbuk for the weekend, it was just fine. The meeting went smoothly, appropriate decisions were made regarding maintenance etc, and by the time it was all over, the weather had cleared up too. Dave kindly took me in his car for a quick trip to the supermarket for a few essentials to see me through the next 24 hours. Early evening we drove into Akbuk (stopping on the way for an aesthetic and spirituall "fill-up" of the view and a photo) and after a leisurely stroll along the quayside noticing the similarities and differences between now and last summer, we then enjoyed a water side restaurant dinner.

Still a bit cold, but what a wonderful day spent enjoying the Akbuk space-time continuum where a single day lasts for 36 hours and all roads lead to the Aegean. Heaven.

(Oh, and my brother and eldest nephew's birthdays today. Happy birthday to them both !)
