Today is a new day...

We have had a brilliant day.

Intrepid adventurers that we are, we started the day at the Ellishader Art Cafe, sitting outside in the warm sunshine eating a most delicious breakfast - a treat for the taste buds and spectacular to look at, even flowers for garnish.

Next we headed to the Quirang over a pretty hairy road, really steep with a couple of impressive hairpin bends. For me it was a bit of a white knuckle ride in the motorhome but we got there in one piece and even better managed to park easily.

A walk up into the hills followed, with Mr Q in full 'Health and Safety' mode. To be fair there were vertical drops all over the place and as he doesn't really like heights, he did pretty well.

Back round the hairpin bends and out to the north of the island where we sat outside in the sun looking over the water to the western isles exclaiming again and again to each other what a great view it was.

And it was.
