First light, Central Otago

The first rays of sun catching the top the nearby hills.

A sunny nor'west day in Central Otago. 19 degrees when we left Alexander, 22 degrees in Clyde, drizzle and 13 degrees on the Lindis Pass, 15 degrees in Twizel.

That's New Zealand for you.

The light really was this yellow

We had a late afternoon fish until it was dark. A Brown trout for me and a salmon for the bloke. Mine went back to play with its mates but the salmon is coming home to my smoker.
