Rundetaarn

Walked over to Rundetaarn this morning for a last look at Copenhagen from the top of the 38m high tower. Fabulous views from the top.

Builging started on the tower in 1637, as part of a church/university/observatory/library complex. The winding ramp allowed King Christian to dive up to the observatory in his carriage - it's much easier on the knees than steps!
