Saluting the Flag

Now ... ya sorta hafta understand that around here (i.e. the Blue Mountains) taking pictures of the Three Sisters is pretty much like saluting the flag, donating to a worthy cause at Christmas or standing for the national anthem. I'll have you know that Blue Mountains blippers convicted of NOT having shot this landmark at least ONCE a year (for form's sake) face heeeeeavy penalties. Anyway, the light was so delicious this afternoon I thought I'd better attend to my duty. Here is the effort for 2014.

Attention Blue Mountains Blippers!!!!! WalkingWombats1 and myself have just issued a challenge to all Blue Mountains Blippers. Shoot the Three Sisters by May 1st (including May 1st) and vote for your favourite Three Sisters Shot on this journal, May 2nd. Winner gets a free cup of coffee for two at the Victory Café. (ahem) Ordinary blippers (i.e. non Blue Mountains types) are invited to participate too - if they can make it in the time allowed - and (of course) participate in the vote. Have fun!!
