Mimbres Vase

At ceramics today. A few weeks ago we were given a challenge my our teacher Paula. She has asks us to study Mimbres pottery.

I decided to incorporate a bird as many of you know it is something I love taking. I picked an image I had taken of a heron and simplified it, also made an abstract shape as well. It is at the stage of waiting to be fired.
