The Key Tree. GX1, Leitz Summar 50mm.

There's a gentle but persistent rain today. Good, shadowless light, rain drops hanging on new leaves and buds. Lots of Blipable details. Then my eye happens on today's Blip: Lost Keys. Good Samaritan saw them on the sidewalk, hung them on the leafless winter tree next to where the keys were found. Along comes spring, the tree starts to bud, and captures the key ring on the little branch with its new growth. Add a few raindrops, the wonderful signature of a 1937-vintage uncoated lens, and Lost Keys have become Found Art.
