Mt. Tom

Mount Tom is a large and prominent peak near Bishop in Inyo County of eastern California. It is in the Sierra Nevada and east of the Sierra Crest.

It is one of the mountains that dominates the western skyline from the upper Owens Valley.

The location is centered on Mount Tom itself since I can't locate on the map exactly where we were when we stopped (in a large turn-out) for this shot.
