Closed

Our island has been surrounded by a thick haar all day. Like living inside a cloud.

Sadly there was a fatal accident on the second Churchill barrier in the late afternoon. Not sure if the weather conditions were to blame but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a factor.

The barriers were closed unit the early hours of the morning. Steven, and I"m sure lots of other people, had to stay at a friends in town overnight but thankfully he'll be home safe tonight.
