I could be wrong.........

.........(it has been known......) but this I think is a cardinal beetle.  It is such a pretty colour and although insects are not my favourite subject, I thought I would blip this.  Look large, it is fascinating!

Beautiful sunny day today and the temperature has reached 17C.  Long may it continue!
