Trees in the Sun

Well, I did manage to get to sleep after all the unexpected excitement of socialising yesterday, but I had some weird dreams of having meals with fellow blippers. I must have been muddling up my two social engagements.

The overnight dusting of snow made pavement walking so much easier today and I found it a dawdle to get to the New Gym at Quartermile in order to claim my gift for enrolling in the gym. In fact the opening has been delayed from November until the end of December and the gift hadn't arrived as promised. I can wait.
My outing wasn't wasted because I manage to blip these trees in the Meadows in the sun, just before the sudden onset of the first snow shower of the day.

Because it is so cold outside and even inside the castle, his Lordship and I have taken to snacking on diet busting carbohydrates - treacle scones, fruit scones and sticky cakes. The extra avoirdupois is hidden under layers of wool and fleece at the moment, but come the spring and the shedding of these layers, there will be gnashing of teeth and tears. However until then, 'Bon Appetit' and I raise my cup of tea and treacle scone to you all sitting in warm offices with toasty feet and warm hands. Slainthe Mhath!
