ANZAC Day

Today is ANZAC Day, a public holiday and a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand.
Originally, April 25th was the day each year that honours the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who fought at Gallipoli during World War 1. Today it more broadly honours all Australians and New Zealanders who died and served in all wars, conflicts and peace keeping operations.
It is even more poignant today with Jess serving in the Australian Army.
She attended her first dawn service and march this morning.
