The ANZACs

This was the moment they played this.

ANZAC day has become such a meaningful part of our culture. As WW1 and WW2 drift further into our past more and more , parades such as this are growing in strength and importance for so many.

6 am in Waihi Beach. A town of 2200 people. The crowd here was estimated to be 1000. The story is repeated in towns 15 minutes to the north and south and all over the country. Comments on the news suggest the same is happening with the Aus ANZACS as well.
