I Found a Phone

Just lying on the pontoon, it was. We've enlisted the services of a giant dredger to slop out some of the harbour and one of the crew had spotted it, dropped overboard who knows when, from some boat.
I was down there at 10am, a chill, damp, north easterly wind blowing in from the North Sea. Hardly the most pleasant weather for stepping the mast, but we got through a few boats before stopping for a bit of a warm up with a roll and square sausage.
Later, I made it back home before stepping for the obligatory teatime pint. And who should appear but the Commodore, yes with Mrs Commodore! Not their usual stomping ground. But it was her birthday. A treat indeed.
