Criss-cross

A much improved day on yesterday with plenty of sun even if quite breezy and the odd stiff shower (but, it is April after all).

A slow lazy morning but a couple of trips out this afternoon. Hair trims for me and Jonathan and then later our Annual eye tests.

Spent an hour or two early on just browsing. I'd been eying up the GoPro cameras thinking forwards to holidays. A rufty tufty camera for more energetic and wet activities has its plus points. I'd decided to go for the GoPro Hero 3+ Black edition, but…. It's a recent development but there are rumours of the Hero 4 coming out very soon. That gets much closer to 4k at 30fps than the current model at 15fps at 4k. Oh - I'm a sucker for technology. Have never been into video, but the 4k standard (well UHD technically speaking), especially on the Sony UHD TVs is just stunning. Some sailing and snorkelling videos as well as stills seems like great fun. But then I'll have to upgrade the 6 year old HD TV in the lounge. A slippery slope I suspect.
