Malestream Cucumbers

Today’s word of the day is “malestream”, which means: ‘In feminist use: the male-dominated mainstream of society’ (OED). Looking at the citations, it has a political connotation and so something political was called for. With the European Parliament elections only a month away, there is widespread evidence of political advertising and spin on the streets. This is one of my favourite adverts, which translates as: ‘For bent cucumbers, against bent businesses’. Whilst applauding the party’s sentiment, I remain uncertain about the image choice …
