Phew! Race season is upon us, and so this morning was spent getting our motor home ready for another summer of traveling to tracks from New Hampshire to Virginia.

Pipes were de-winterized, windows washed, floors scrubbed, woodwork polished, bed linens changed, and kitchen and bathroom scoured to a fare-thee-well.

This 40-foot behemoth gives us the liberty to travel far and wide with all the mod cons of home. While Richard is careening around the track, I can cook meals, wash laundry, or just relax and watch movies or read. It also has plenty of power provided by a Cummins 400 horsepower diesel engine, which happily accommodates any mountain or valley in its way.
