Chollas Creek Clean-up

Lake to Ocean clean up. I was part of the RSVP mid-city patrol helping to keep the workers safe as 56 volunteers + city employees were cleaning up trash & litter from Chollas Creek off Streamview Street. This hundreds & hundreds of volunteers. This would be less of a problem if the city and stated enforced the littering laws. I would prefer mandatory work fines at $5.00/hour pay off with fines doubling for repeat offenders. I live next to a city park/school and see adults throwing trash on the ground every time we walk around the park not to mention the people we see just dropping bags of trash out of their cars or the adults & kids throwing trash on the street and neighborhood lawns as they walk from the school.
