Thursday 24 December 2009: Only a few hours away ...
Having done most of my preparations regarding the food, I have now taken out the decorations and still have to clean it well.
It has gathered dust and last years' drippings of candle wax still have to be removed ... and then I shall put furniture oil on the little mahogany candle holder that Johann's Dad made many, many years ago, and the silver holder needs to be buffed and shined and so forth and so on ....
Early tomorrow we shall depart and spend the day with my sister and her family at Diaz Beach, (about 50kms away) where it is most likely to be all sunny skies, and any holiday maker's dream.
Johann's brother and his family will also join us from Danabaai, only 15km's away.
No doubt we shall have a good time visiting with family we do not see often enough and then we shall have a lovely feast.
I do wish all the blippers, friends and family (also blippers!) a wonderful and blessed Christmas day. Also to Joe and Co at blipcentral - may your day be full of cheer and gladness.
