Thursday 24 December 2009: Santa's Gift
You know its Christmas when you buy an Evening Times and Santa gives you chocolate.
The best news I read this week was that due to the bad weather a large part of the Sprout harvest has been ruined and there is a national shortage.
I was sent out to do all the food shopping today so I was able to pretend there were no Sprouts because of the shortage!
Enjoyed the 'Grumpy Guide to Christmas' last night. Particularly liked the reference to Turkey and Cranberry sauce being nothing more than posh Chicken with Jam; and whose idea was it that to celebrate the birth of Jesus we should go out and kill 10 million Turkeys?
