My apprentice

Working with yarn is something I learned as a little girl in Finland; I was taught to knit and crochet by my mom before I even started school. The first potholder I made as a four year old is light pink, crooked, full of holes and kept as a treasure. Alexa is four, and we've been having some crochet practice the last few weeks. If all goes well, maybe her mom will get a potholder for Mothers Day...
