Non-mellow yellow

Excitement! The Securicabin is back! All day a mini digger has been scraping back the verges in preparation for 1km of 3 inch thick tarmacadam to be laid on our neglected pot holey road. (We are not completely metricated here in the country.)

Tomorrow I will go back first thing and interrogate the workmen about when and how long it will take and how we will get out of the house, it being a single track road.

A whole kilometre of smooth tarmac! We can do time trials on it!
