Slow on the uptake?

It occurred to me this evening, walking past this building for the I-don't-know-how-many'th time, that it was probably designed as a visual echo of Arthur's Seat that can also be seen from the road junction. Although it is a bold piece of modern architecture, I quite like it. No reason why housing need all look the same.
