Rural Edinburgh

Stedfastgate Junction, on the Inner Tube cycle & footpath network on the railway lines that once connected the ports of Granton, Newhaven and Leith.

Named to celebrate the centenary of the Boy's Brigade, I discovered. The decorative stonework nearby is the remains of a water fountain for horses and dogs as well as people, installed by a Catherine Sinclair at Edinburgh's West End and removed due to tram works in 1926. Stones discovered in a council yard in Bonnington.

On foot rather than cycling, still, but heading for a physio appointment for more work on the shoulder that was broken on Feb 1oth. Improving fast.
