Monday 28 December 2009: Pegged

With late afternoon temperatures dropping rapidly it was time to capture an image which described the day.

I love pastel paintings and the clothes pegs against the frozen cotton on the washing line seemed to emulate the essence of that form

It's also a reminder, that even in the middle of winter - no matter how cold - the routine of domestic life continues.

And even in domesticity one can find poetry!!
