Garden waste

We are having more cool than hot summers' days, yet the leaves are turning blotchy and yellow because of the drought situation.
Many of the plants still cope, but the neighbor's fig tree this year has tiny leaves and exceptionally small fruit.

It is beautifully overcast outside, yet we need Somebody to please flip the rain switch to the 'on' position!
