What time is it?

I wonder if this little fly wants to know what time it is?
Otherwise what is it doing on this dandelion clock?
Who first blew the seeds away and said it would tell the time?
But we did it as children and our mothers and grandmothers before us, and then our children carried on blowing, and our grandchildren too.
So it will be from generation to generation.
Will we ever know the time?
