What a lovely day:-

I have seen several blips of apple blossom of a far better standard than I could achieve.

However although the weather was not particularly warm here today the honey bees were busily working the apple blossom for pollen and nectar.

Beekeepers have a saying that once the apple trees are in bloom then one no longer needs to worry that the bees are going to have enough food to survive. In other words there is now so much nectar coming in to the hives that the bees can begin to produce a surplus over what they consume.

What we really need right now is some nice warm weather to help them on the way!
