At least the snow can cheer me up.
Had some bad news.
Our holiday is cancelled.
The house we and 16 others were renting in Ballater has burst pipes and we can no longer go there. With less than 24 hours before we were due to go for New year, we are a tad like the kid who has lost their toy :-(
Ah well, there are a few more places to call tomorrow.
Could be a dissapointing start to the new year, but no lives lost.
Son number 2 is away at Girlfriend's parents till tomorrow.
Number 1 son leaves very early tomorrow to go to Germany for the new year. I wonder if I could sneak in his luggage, or would it tip him over the 15kg limit?
