Handsome bug

This was certainly the brightest of all the insects I saw this morning at the nature reserve. It's a true bug called Corizus hyoscyami and I now realise that I photographed one at about this time last year. It used to be only known from the south coast of Britain, but has recently spread north and now seems to be quite plentiful around my patch. Of course, unlike all the green/brown bugs, it rather stands out!
