St George's Kendal

Churches are often interesting buildings, at least the older ones. This is St George's in Kendal which I used to live near by. I'd noticed the top but never thought much about it but I realised the top of the two front towers doesn't quite fit. Getting home I looked it up and turns out there used to be two big old towers on the top there but there were structural problems and they had to be reduced in size.
