Charlotte Square greenery

Was on the way to the Edinburgh Tourism Action Group Showcase event at the Assembly Rooms in George Street, when the greenery and trees in central Charlotte Square caught my eye. For my out-of-Scotland viewers, the central figure is Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria. The building behind is New Register House.

In August the Edinburgh International Book Festival will be situated in this garden and it will be covered with marquees.
