Thursday 31 December 2009: The Tree - a Symbol of Life
Just a tree. I liked this tree but the snow was still deep in the field for this early morning Blip.
The Tree of Life is a universal symbol found in many cultural traditions and faiths. It symbolizes many things, including wisdom, protection, shelter, strength, beauty, and redemption. The Tree also represents humans, as we too develop roots, and branch out. The tree lives for generations. The tree is also a source of inspiration to artists. It changes over the seasons.
I felt this would be a good subject to round off 2009, and wish all fellow Blippers all the best for 2010.
