Under pressure

There comes a point when the grass in the fields just gets too long to stand up to the wind. Then it can be seen rolling in silvery waves all around the island.

This evening the wind had dropped but the grass just lay there, tired and flattened but still shimmering in the sunshine.

All of this means one thing... silage cutting season!
