I've been recently surprised at the amount of people who, upon turning into Haymarket Yards from Haymarket Terrace, actually bother to go across both sets of tram tracks to the taking-the-piss cycle lane along the inside edge when they're almost certainly not turning into the station but turning right at the bottom to head through the cut-through to Balbirnie Place, having to cross the extra track a second time. I'd prefer to be near the middle of the road, where any tram turning in from the Haymarket stop is definitely going to see me. I've only been the thing to approach them from the rear so far, though doubtless there will soon be an opportunity to see what having one pull up behind is like.
