Wee Cones

They are wee, just about an inch or so. I've been taking quick pics of them for more than a week but the tree's in a pot outside someone's front door and there's always either bit of wind or a bit of traffic and they shoogle about. So I've decided this us about as good as I'm going to get before the houseowner calls the police to complain about a tree stalker!

Just back from putting in another couple of much-needed hours at the allotment. Decided to dig up the carrots that had over wintered because the leaves were getting huge. What a disappointment; I've got a little bunch of little woody carrots. A cup of carrot soup beckons ....
