Granny's bonnets

Another lovely summer's day, and the car having to go in for its NCT (road-worthiness test) meant I had to spend it at home. I cut the grass and swept the yard and then collapsed into a deckchair with my book.
It was properly warm, and super lovely! And the garden is looking really well despite having spent hardly any time on it. The first roses are out. The peas are flowering and these aquilegias in many different forms and colours have sprung up everywhere.
