Ode to Wanaka

I found a tree in the river. Not a tree in the lake but a tree in the Hunter river which reminded me a little of Wanaka's famous tree. I spotted it when I went overseas to Stockton to take the moonrise the other day and decided to go back today.

Just to the right of here are old oyster stakes. The Pelicans seem to be using them as a roost.

We are having the most wonderful weather at the moment and looks like it is staying around until at least Wednesday if those liars at the weather bureau can be believed. Visits over and just about to settle down for the evening. I hope you are all having a good Saturday.
