St Basil's cathedral

Managed to navigate the Aeroexpress and the Metro to get in to Moscow for a wee while. We got a taxi to the airport first to dump bags, then headed out for an adventure.

Having street maps, metro maps and a phrase book on the iPhone makes things a bit easier.

Mooched around Red Square, inside St Basil's and a quick tour of GUM.
GUM is like the Trafford Centre on steroids!

About the only thing we could afford in there was a couple of slices of pizza!

Back at the airport for the evening flight to Amsterdam, then on to Manchester.

Should be back in the Lakes by midnight with luck.
