Light Up

I knew the moon was going to rise in a good position on Friday night for me to try and get a similar shot to this one of nearly exactly a year ago (which was one of my most popular blips), but cloud cover threatened it and it looked certain that I wasn't going to get the shot.

I was so tired, really very tired, and didn't have energy to go out so I photographed a few boring things, and decided to call it a night.

But something kept me up until after 11pm, and I looked out just in time to see this moon rising in a gap in the cloud. Blipscramble ensued and I managed to get the tripod set up, remote, settings etc and got this.

The house and trees are half a mile away!
