Saturday 2 January 2010: Salmon Harbor
South of Florence is a place that can't seem to make its mind about what it wants to be called. Some call it Salmon Harbor, others call it Winchester Bay. Today was a good day to go for a drive and so we went to Coos Bay and on the return stopped at Winchester Bay. I parked about 50 feet from a great blue heron, but my camera tripped me up again. Oh well, maybe some day I will grow up and buy a new camera.
