Pecking order

The new hens are settling in well and have been exploring the garden with the chief chicken supervisor watching their every move.
Their first two weeks were in a spare coop so old hens and teenage hens could look at each other. Then for the past week they have had times together and apart during the day and have roosted together. Now fully integrated with no bloodshed ( so far). The older hens have made sure that the young ones know that they are at the bottom of the pecking order.
