Snow Down Under

MAPLE TIME:

This is ACER CHISHIO with the kiss of the morning sun. It has a selection of different coloured coats it dons during the year. Clever maple this one, with an extensive wardrobe ! It is a flamboyant, shrimp pink in Spring, an ordinary green in Summer & now, in party mode, a rich royal gold. Like me it grows out & becomes rather rotund ! I am very fond of CHISHIO.

Directly behind in the middle, is ACER DAVIDII, (looking rather bedraggled after the Autumn winds), growing tall & straight, not unlike the Grenadier Guards & never putting a foot wrong. Apart from the gold coat it is wearing now, its main claim to fame is the lovely striped bark.
