Class Act

This morning at Mackintosh Queen's Cross we launched our New Mackintosh Schools Programme.

We are absolutely delighted to have Rachel Barron as our new tutor. Rachel is an artist based in Glasgow whose practice encompasses printmaking. installation and community engagement.

Rachel uses alternative printing techniques to create colourful geometric compositions. She has developed a highly effective method of printmaking using handmade stamps and inkpads which is enjoyed by children of all ages and abilities.

All the children from Swinton Primary School had a wonderful time designing their own print stamps and creating some wonderful designs.
