Postcards – supposed to be out of fashion!

I keep hearing that nobody sends postcards anymore!
I enjoy receiving them & hearing of the travels of friends & family, even if it is "out of fashion". I also send them when I am on holiday to friends that also enjoy receiving them, I received these 2 today : )
My uncle & aunt (who live in Devon) sent me the lovely one from Brittany (posted on Saturday, 17/5), seems like they are having a 10 /11 day break.
Good friends Charmaine & Joy, sent me the one from San Francisco (posted Tuesday 13/5), they are having a break with their other sister & then cruising back to Vancouver, where they live. It sounds like they are having great fun.
