Monomonday:Weather

The forecast for today was reasonably correct as it predicted cloud/sunshine with the possibility of some rain in the west getting heavier towards the evening. Luckily we are in the east of the county and so have escaped any rain - so far!
This was taken on the North Somerset coast at Watchet which in the past used to be a busy port but not any more. There is marina which was finished a few years ago and the town has improved greatly in recent times. This is the little lighthouse at the entrance to the harbour with beautiful green glass which of course does not show in mono! I was lucky in that the sun was trying to break through the cloud cover and thus the brilliance overhead which I think is quite spectacular.
J and I went to see an art exhibition and for a general wander around. It was very pleasant and we even ended up having fish and chips which were excellent and even more so because the shop has an arrangement with the adjoining little long thin pub/bar saying enjoy your food with a pint next door - brilliant.
